The default Mac OS X Mail font is nice, but sometimes even fonts should be a bit more personal than the default. Classic fonts are installed in the Fonts folder within the Mac OS 9.x System Folder.
These are the only fonts accessible by the Clas-sic environment, although Mac OS X can use these fonts, even when the Classic environment is not running. Visit for beautiful fonts for MAC and PC. That's bizarre. It sounds like a problem with Word. For some reason, MS decided to build their own font-management into Office for the Mac rather than just rely on OSX to do it - you may notice Word's status bar displaying messages like 'optimizing font menu' or somesuch.
You could always try to uninstall Office (usually just a case of dragging it to the Trash from your Applications folder) and reinstalling from you Office installer disks (presuming you have the Office installer disks of course). Tell us some more. Upload in Progress.

Hi everyone, I’m having a weird difficulty with a font family I am nearing the end on and am not sure what could be causing the issue. I have cleaned my font caches and tried installing the fonts directly in the Fonts folder and through FontBook, but to no avail.
This is specific to the OTF format, I’m not having any issue with the exported TTFs so I’m not sure what could be causing it. Both the OTF and the TTF versions display fine in the document on screen itself, but when the doc is sent to the printer, when using the OTFs the output is a scrambled default. I’m producing both OTF and TTFs so I’d like both to work any idea what might be causing this? I’ve included a screenshot of the doc and a photo of the printout. Any help would be very gratefully received!
